At OpenGoSim we have been working hard to develop a solution to model CO₂ storage in depleted hydrocarbon fields, and Steve is one of the reservoir engineers who has helped us to identify user modelling needs and to test the first release of this new capability. The presentation will use this case study to discuss some of the key aspects of CO₂ storage in depleted gas fields, while describing a new modeling approach dedicated to this application.
